At an elevation of 3000' in the Sierra foothills, Camp Lodestar boasts 425 acres of meadow and woodlands. An deal setting for outdoor education, Camp Lodestar offers diverse plant and animal life to study and appreciate along trails that wind through the meadow, along a river and pond and alpine forests.
Eighty guests are accommodated overnight in a variety of lodging types. Meetings spaces seat 20 up to 167 in our outdoor ampitheathre, open-air chapel and the beloved campfire circle. |
UCCR: Jesuit Retreat Center of the Sierra An adult, youth and family retreat center for nonprofit groups of 20-130 (105 guests overnight; +25 additional beds in summer only). Nestled in the foothills of California’s historic Gold Country, the Retreat is situated on 350 acres covered with oak and pine trees. It offers 4 miles of hiking trails overlooking the American River. The area provides a natural environment for rest, reflection, and spiritual renewal. |
The premier SIERRA FOOTHILLS venue is the Sutter Creek Inn, a delightful Gold Country Bed & Breakfast in a sprawling New England style house. Our 17 charming rooms and cottages provide up to 36 guests with a choice of accommodations. Our meeting facility is adjacent to the main house and offers 600 sq ft of space that can be set up to suit the needs of your group. |
Camp Tuolumne Trails is located on 80 acres of rolling foothills on the west slope of the Sierra Nevada and shares borders on three sides with National Forest Service lands. The camp is twenty six miles from the entrance of Yosemite National Park.
