Mission Renewal Center at Old Santa Barbara Mission

The Mission Renewal Center has several large and small conference rooms, 61 guest rooms, a beautiful chapel and a spacious dining room that comfortably seats 100 guests.

Three meeting rooms are available for workshops, retreats, meetings and small conferences:

Friar's Lounge
A cathedral ceiling, large fireplace, wood paneling and Malibu tile create a charming ambiance. The Friar's Lounge is shown to the right. Located off of the St. Francis courtyard, it provides a unique atmosphere for up to 120 guests.

Bonaventure Hall
Light and airy, the Bonaventure Hall features a media center with a 60-inch television and wireless internet access. A small kitchenette and access to the St. Francis courtyard make this a comfortable meeting space, suitable for up to120 guests.

Clare's Place
Recently remodeled, this cozy gathering space features the Duns Scotus Library, comfortable seating, carpeted floor and is wheel-chair accessible.  Clare's Place is tucked away off the fountain courtyard and seats 35 guests.

Our 61guest rooms are double occupancy, furnished with simplicity and comfort in mind. Bathrooms are dormotiry style. Each room includes a full-size or two twin-size beds, sink, desk and chair, fresh linens and towels. To promote an atmosphere of solitude and reflection there are no telephones or televisions in the guest rooms.

In addition, The Serra Wing has 12 rooms with beautiful courtyard views, full-size beds and private 1/2 baths with showers shared between two rooms.
