Christ in the Wilderness Hermitage Retreat

Christ in the Wilderness is a place for solitude, silence, prayer and reflection. Situated in the northwest corner of Illinois, it is also conveniently located for residents of Iowa and Wisconsin who desire a time of personal or guided retreat any time of year.

We recommend at least a 4 to 5 night stay to enter adequately into the quiet beauty of this life and receive the maximum benefit from your retreat.The per night fee is $55 with a minimum of 2 nights stay.

For those looking for guidance on their life's journey, spiritual direction is available for an extra fee with our center's Director. Retreatants can also arrange for consultation with a spiritual director of their choosing.
