Sant’Andrea

Sant’ Andrea ("Farm Holidays") is cradled in the green hills of northern Umbria. It was established about 15 years ago to provide a welcoming peaceful environment for small group and individual retreats.

Workshops and seminars are welcome and we have hosted yoga, meditation, shiatsu, and dance groups. Sant' Andrea is also an ideal setting for writers and artists groups.

Vegetarian cuisine is served at Sant' Andrea, using organic vegetables which come mostly from our garden. We also bake our bread, and make tofu and seitan (proteins from soya and wheat), and a variety of jams and tomato sauces.

Baiardo is a small mountain-top village, 25km north of San Remo, in the region of Liguria, Northern Italy. Situated 80km east of Nice airport & 53 km east of Monte Carlo, Baiardo stands 1000 metres above sea level.

A Retreat with a View is available to rent for courses, workshops and retreats, throughout the summer. We have 7 terraced houses available for groups of up to 26 people.

Facilities: Seven houses with 10 bedrooms, 2 lofts, 7 kitchens, 8 showers, 9 toilets & 2 living rooms. Large private terrace with panoramic mountain views.You can rent all seven houses, or a smaller number depending on the size of your group and the space you need.

In addition to accommodation and outdoor work space, we are happy to organise excursions to local places of interest, cookery evenings and Italian language classes.
